Food sources include bell peppers and citrus for vitamin C, nuts and leafy greens for vitamin E, and sweet potatoes and fortified cereals for vitamin A. Vitamin D and magnesium
The NIH describes vitamin D as necessary for calcium absorption, muscle and nerve function, and normal immune function. A healthcare provider may use blood levels to assess vitamin D status. 4. Check safety and current quality information
A readable label is the starting point. If a company posts testing documents, match the product name, lot, date, and reported tests to the item you are considering. Mullein for lungs has a long history and limited human evidence
Mullein appears in many lung support supplements because of its traditional respiratory and expectorant use. What does NAC add to a respiratory-support formula?
N-acetylcysteine, or NAC, supplies cysteine used in glutathione synthesis. It also has a recognized mucolytic mechanism: NAC can disrupt bonds in mucus proteins and change mucus viscosity. That mechanism explains why NAC appears in respiratory research and some lung support formulas.
It still does not prove that every oral NAC amount changes symptoms, breathing, or lung function.
